Shibori Dyeing for Beginners - May 16th, 2026

In this beginner friendly workshop, you’ll learn the art of Shibori, a Japanese manual hand-dyeing technique which produces beautiful patterns in fabric in a range of blues using Indigo dye.

Four different patterns will be taught - you’ll choose two techniques to prep your fabrics. Students may chose to create:

One 8"x72" silk scarf and One 11"x60" scarf OR
Two 24”x24" cotton pillow covers w/zippers OR
One large cotton tote bag w/pocket 19"x17"x9.5"

Saturday, May 16th, 1:00pm – 4:30pm
Workshop is held OUTSIDE at Blue Fox Studio. Dress for mess as the dye stains permanently.
In case of rain, workshop will be held in my spacious garage.

Workshop fees may be used for a different workshop date held at Blue Fox Studio with
TWO weeks notice before original workshop date, Fee is refundable 30 days before original workshop date.
(NOTE: Fees are also refundable in the unlikely event of cancellation by Blue Fox Studio.)
