Working with colorful wool roving, yarn, and pieces of silk fabric, students will create a fiber “painting.” Through the wet felting process, we will turn this light and fluffy wool into a beautiful and permanent felt artwork. Learn how this process originated and the many ways people around the world work with and use felt! You can hang or frame your artwork or create a set of coasters or trivets. (Students have also turned their artwork into a purse after class!)
Quality Merino wool and all supplies are included in the fee. Participants are also welcome to bring additional bits of 100% natural yarn/fiber to include in their artwork.
